At Candidex, we started with a simple purpose, to strengthen the early childhood education sector in New Zealand by creating a supported pathway for overseas teachers to join our sector, while also helping local New Zealand teachers find roles where they feel valued.
We understood the pressure across the sector and saw talented international educators ready to add value. We built a clear, ethical route into New Zealand so teachers could contribute with confidence and centres could plan and educate with certainty.
To support our clients and teachers we offer support navigating immigration responsibilities, ensuring every step is clear, compliant, and well supported.
Listening to our clients, it became clear an improved reliever service was needed. Responsive, reliable, and easy to use. So we created one. Today, we offer day to day relief and short and long term cover, ensuring centres have the support they need, when they need it.
As our business evolved, we recognised an opportunity to help & support young adults enter or re‑enter the workforce. We created a work readiness program that combines health, wellness, and work preparation adding real value for jobseekers and the organisations in our community.
